SLR digital camera should I buy? And Why?

I'm thinking of buying a digital SLR camera. I can not decide which model to buy. Is between 15.1 MP Canon EOS and Nikon D90. I figure if I spend the money they want to make sure it will be good.

Both cameras are excellent, but I would easily choose the Nikon D90. I am currently teaching a class where I have 3 students with the D90 and have been very impressed with the quality of the images I've seen it coming from their cameras.
