Digital camera prices why Rediff / Sify are cheaper than the price of retail? Poor quality / defective products?

Can someone tell me, how is that prices of digital cameras at Rediff are cheaper than the selling price given by the manufacturer? Are they inferior or is defective?

I can not think of a couple of reasons why a digital camera prices may be cheaper in some places than others. Sometimes online stores or catalogs to get cameras in the discount rates by buying refurbished or gray market models. If the cameras have been renovated, it is not known what had been the reason that had been returned. If they are gray market ... and these are the models you want to stay away from ... have been imported from another country and have no guarantee U.S.. If something goes wrong with them ... you have no protection. And a camera without a U.S. guarantee be rejected by the manufacturers repair shop, which means you can never get an upgrade or have cleaned or anything. If there is a camera that is interested .. not only the end. Find the phone number to call so you can make ... if the camera is refurbished or do have a U.S. warranty. Do not just buy now and be surprised and disappointed later. Hope that was helpful. )
