I need help with Windows Movie Maker.?

I filmed a few clips of my brother doing football (kickups e.t.c.) to make a video out of. I uploaded them from the digital camera to the PC and imported them into WMM. All i see for the clip is a black screen until i double click it and it starts to play. Anyhow, i dragged one clip onto the timeline and it plays but all i can see is the black screen. What the hell is wrong with it and how do i sort it out? The clips are in .mpg if that helps.

maybe u r missing a mpeg codec. try downloading windows media player 11 from microsoft web site:

www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/default.aspx
