i have a sony cybershot digital camera and on the bottom left hand corner reads SAF?

i want to get rid of it but i don't know how to do it!!!!! could someone help me?

It is telling you it is in single auto focus. You can get rid of it by making it say CAF, Continuous auto focus. You can't get rid of it.

Single means it focuses once when you press the button. Continues means it will keep focusing on moveing targets as you hold the button down.
