Digital Camera Covers
The lens cover of my digital camera does not open properly?
I have a Kodak EasyShare Z700 digital camera. Everything works fine, but the cover plastic over the lens no longer opens when you turn it on. I am sure that is a totally mechanical problem, and you can insert a small piece of toothpick in the area of the lens to keep the lens cover open slightly. How can I can fix this so that will remain open as before?
Can not repair - a qualified technician can do that. I do not mean to ruin your day, but I can tell you the number of write ups that we see here every day about of the problems with Kodak cameras - the list is endless. I suggest an estimate on repair or two, as it can be expensive.
